Alex No Longer Teaching At Inner Fire Yoga

I wish that I'd had a chance to say goodbye, but my services at Inner Fire were quickly terminated. I've kinda been in shock. Since I didn't have the time to let you know, here's a video explaining, briefly what has happened. It took me a couple days to put this video together because I'm new to it and I'm battling a cold right now, so some of my speech is a little slurred. Please bear with me.

For a more detailed text description of what has happened at Inner Fire Yoga, check out my text post here. Unfortunately I thought I'd had at least until the end of the month to say goodbye as that was the deadline that was originally given for me to sign the contract. I was trying to honor Marit's business by not letting anything be known until the last couple weeks. I'm sorry.

If you know of anyone who wants to know what has happened to my presence at Inner Fire Yoga, please direct them here, to my blog.

Thank You - I Love You All.

  1. Alex,

Thank you so much for the update. I'm sorry that things had to end at Inner Fire Yoga in a way that is truly NOT your style. From the moment I sat in my first class with you I realized what a truly gifted teacher and person you are. Thank you for all that you do for so many!

The best is yet to come for you. Check your email :-)

  2. I am deeply saddened to know you were forced to leave so suddenly. I hope you find a place on campus. There are so many students who would love to join your class. I know for sure that I will.
    Peace and blessings,

  4. I'm so very sorry Alex. They are loosing an incredibly talented teacher. I look forward to finding out where you will be teaching next. For the past two years, I've only attended your class at IFY, so I have no attachment to that studio.

I'm just not sure which classes I'll attend to use up my 20 pass....

  5. Hi Alex,
I wanted to take your yin tomorrow @ IFY, landed here instead. At least I know where to find you. Every class I took from you was top notch. Your teaching style lies outside of the pack - an outlier! Perfectly fitting what I like. And need. Wish you to get yourself situated soon. Should references from a student help, I am one.

PS. Do I check your classes schedule here?
