Summer Bummer

Unless you have a fast connection speed, you may want to take 10 minutes to let this load. You will need to hit the play button first. Push pause if you need to let it load.

The short version of the story is this:

The new studio hasn't worked out - at least for now.

There is a lot of change in my life.

I am needing to emotionally process, move, and take a break from working to start a new yoga gig.

Basically, I have to take the first step towards creating my new life. My new personal life, my new home life, and my new professional life. Right now I must pull my financial, mental, and emotional resources in and create a launching pad I can use to create what I am meant to create at this time.

I apologize that things have not turned out as expected.

I am disappointed myself.

Thank You for your Well Wishes, Hopes, Prayers, and Thoughts.

They are not unappreciated - and touch me.

May your summer be lovely and be filled with the pure timelessness of life lived well.

  1. Hi Alex. I've only come to 7 of your classes at Inner Fire Yoga. I really liked them and am sorry to hear about the new studio not working out while you have struggles in your personal life too.

Your videos really intrigue me. I don't know why, but I really like the messages at the end with the music. I hope you make more in the future or I'll see you in class. Keep Up the Good Work!

  2. Hi Ann. Thanks for the encouragement! It takes me a while to make a video so I don't make them too often. I do like it though. Look in the future for some videos that will be of more help to your yoga practice!

  3. Alex,

I am so very sorry to hear about your difficult year - - I think you are right about the year of life/death cycling/transitioning - there are/will be difficult times in each of our lives, and with the support of people who love us, we can pass through these times, letting go of what we no longer need & birthing new beginnings in our lives...

I wish you the best in your mourning-grieving-'dying' - and of course I also wish you the best in your conception-gestation-birth of the life that lies ahead of you.

And I'll see you one of these Saturdays at Jewel.
